Plogger Support Forum - Announcements Thu, 28 Mar 2024 18:36:47 +0000 http://www.plogger.org/forum/ Lussumo Vanilla 1.1.10 Announcement - Subversion/Trac changes http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=3019 http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=3019 Tue, 12 Jan 2010 16:06:10 +0000 ryanduff
Unfortunately, because of this I had to clean up our URL structure for plogger.org. The new repositories and trac environments are as follows:

Plogger Core
-http://core.svn.plogger.org

Plogger Translations
-http://translations.svn.plogger.org

Due to the change from dev to trac, I have set up a redirect from http://dev.plogger.org to http://core.trac.plogger.org for anybody that might have old links.

As far as moving the subversion repository, if you have a local copy, you'll need to update the path. This can be done by using the relocate command in subversion. Assuming you have a check out of /trunk, the command would be as follows:

svn switch --relocate http://svn.plogger.org/trunk http://core.svn.plogger.org/trunk]]>
Announcement - new stable version (Plogger 1.0-RC1) released! http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2914 http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2914 Wed, 28 Oct 2009 11:33:20 +0000 sidtheduck Plogger 1.0-RC1! For those of you using SVN versions, this is revision 606, so if you have an older revision, you may want to upgrade to the latest.

The Install and Upgrade pages have been updated as well to show the updated process for installing a fresh version or upgrading your existing version (the same information can be found, as always, in the readme of the download as well). We look forward to hearing your feedback and remember to report any bugs you find to the Trac pages!]]>
Important-- Security Update for 1.0b3 users (a.k.a. Version 3.0 Beta) http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2109 http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2109 Mon, 18 Aug 2008 16:41:12 +0000 ryanduff publicly disclosed. We were notified after it was found and the problem has been corrected.

I ported changes back to version 1.0b3 for those not running current SVN. They can be found here. There are two changed files: plog-download.php and plog-remote.php (both found in the root folder). Replacing those files with those in the zip file will fix the issue.

For those running SVN, the changes were committed in r569 so as long as you've updated past that revision, you should be covered.

The download on the main page also has the updated files if you would like the whole package.]]>
Plogger restructured - at SVN revision 550 http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=1998 http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=1998 Sat, 28 Jun 2008 13:54:52 +0000 sidtheduck revision 550, the structure no longer remains the same and upgrading (at this point) from previous versions has not been documented or finalized (but it will be soon! ;) ).

If you are looking to use the bug fixes for Beta 3.0 from the SVN trunk, please download using the following link ( <= revision 549 is prior to the restructure).
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks.]]>
Plogger version naming explanation http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2169 http://www.plogger.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2169 Fri, 05 Sep 2008 13:59:01 +0000 sidtheduck
Previous releases of Plogger have been (from newest on top to oldest on bottom):
(1.0) beta 3.0
(1.0) beta 2.1
(1.0) beta 2
(1.0) beta 1

Plogger is still in the Beta phase and has not yet reached a full release (but we hope to soon). The "1.0" in the above versions was implied because an official "full release" is still pending. When the full release comes out it will be Plogger 1.0. The confusion (I believe) started with the security-fix, sub-release of beta 2.1. This version was released to fix a security vulnerability, but did not change much else to the code. Since then, the sub-release numbering of the beta release has been added (the x.0).

So to clear things up, when people are referring to "beta 3.0", "3.0", or "3.0 beta" at this point are actually referring to 1.0b3 (version 1.0 beta release 3). ryanduff has put together a Version Numbering Standards page on the development wiki.

Again, we are sorry for the confusion and will try to be more consistent with our terminology from this point on. Thanks.]]>

Not very actively developing. I'm using plogger for a few of my website and since I like running the latest version I updated my own plogger sites and created this GitHub project so others can also use this when their PHP version gets updated.

Use at own risk!

I just wanted to let you know that after looking at several (it went into double figures) galleries, I found plogger.

I have the latest version of wamp running, installed plogger and it worked straight out of the box with one exception. I had to turn error reporting off in my php ini which was the easiest way for me to do as I am the admin but apart from that, its an awesome gallery.
