<![CDATA[Hi,<br />I've been searching in General Support for some time to find a solution to this issue. I haven't been able to find any solutions. I just finished installing plogger; I have a simple photo collection with one photo in it. I've written a simple test.php page to take a look at plogger.<br />Here's what I have in the test.php file:<br /><br />&lt;HTML&gt;<br />&lt;?php require(&quot;gallery.php&quot;); ?&gt;<br />&lt;head&gt;<br />&lt;?php the_gallery_head(); ?&gt;<br />&lt;/head&gt;<br />&lt;body&gt;<br />&lt;?php the_gallery(); ?&gt;<br />&lt;/body&gt;<br />&lt;/HTML&gt;<br /><br />Pretty simple; I just followed the readme included with the plogger installation. When navigating to test.php I get the following error:<br />Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /home/content/j/u/s/justin1186/html/gallery.php on line 1<br /><br />This is apparently referring to the &lt;?php require(&quot;gallery.php&quot;); ?&gt; on line one of my test.php file. Any ideas? All I did was install and upload one photo...<br />Thanks,<br />Justin1186]]>

<![CDATA[Hi,<br /><br />I have been wondering if there is an easy way to tag each image in the Plogger script with unique alt tags. I have a modified version of Plogger integrated into wordpress for a recreational custom car site at www.classicnation.com and I see that the tags showing up are all &quot;Plogger Image&quot;. Is there a way that I can assign custom alt tags at some point so these images can be indexed by the SEs properly?]]>

<![CDATA[Not sure how to solve this. Sometimes zip uploads work and other times they don't. It only works with certain zips though. If I make 2 folders, each with a couple pictures in them and try to upload them both, one might fail while the other successfully uploads. The one that failed will never work and the one that worked will always work. Any thoughts?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Alex]]>

<![CDATA[Hi,<br /><br />I just installed Plogger on my server with nginx, MySQL5 and PHP5. I uploaded a folder with 2548 images to the plogger upload dir for importing them into plogger. At first i got this error message from nginx: <br /><br />&quot;[error] 9791#0: *1 client intended to send too large body: 1514285 bytes&quot;<br /><br />I set the client_max_body_size variable of nginx to a higher value and the message disapeared. Now when I click the import button in plogger it takes a couple of seconds and again it apears the page where I can select the folder I want to upload. And plogger imported NO SINGLE IMAGE.<br />Well I think its because I'm running into some limit of PHP, MySQL or nginx, but I have no idea what exactly causes that error. The logs aren't helpful either. I hope you can help me and give me a hint.]]>

			<![CDATA[Eventhough I'm using the captcha I was still getting spam in my comments section.<br /><br />To get rid of most of this I added a few extra pieces of code I also use in e-mail scripts etc. <br /><br />First of all the plogger/plog-comment.php file:<br /><br />at the start of the source code (after the &lt;?php of course) add:<br /><br /><code >//check if the data comes form the comment form's POST request<br />if(isset($_POST['submit'])) <br />//if so, start the comment script<br />{<br /><br /></code><br /><br />At the end of the source code (just before the ?>) add:<br /><br /><code >}<br />//end of the comment script<br /><br />//if the data does not come form the comment form's POST request<br />else<br />{<br />die(&quot;&lt;html&gt;&lt;head&gt;<br />	&lt;title&gt;403 Forbidden&lt;/title&gt;<br />	&lt;/head&gt;&lt;body&gt;<br />	&lt;h1&gt;Forbidden&lt;/h1&gt;<br />	&lt;p&gt;You don't have permission to directly access this page!&lt;/p&gt;<br />	&lt;/body&gt;&lt;/html&gt;<br />	&quot;);<br />}<br /><br />?&gt;</code><br /><br />This does an extra check to see if the posted data is actually coming from the comment form instead of direct injection by a spam bot.<br /><br />A second extra precaution would be to hide the comment form's submit button in a javacript document.write.<br /><br />A lot of spam bots use text based browsing and can't handle javascript, so if we write the submit button into a piece of javacript code they can't submit the form. The downside to this if people use a text based browser (a bit old fashioned imho) they can't submit a comment either.<br /><br />In your theme's comment.php file<br /><br />Replace<br /><br /><code ><br />&lt;p&gt;&lt;input class=&quot;submit&quot; name=&quot;submit&quot; type=&quot;submit&quot; tabindex=&quot;5&quot; value=&quot;&lt;?php echo plog_tr('Post Comment'); ?&gt;&quot; /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;<br /></code><br /><br />by<br /><br /><code >&lt;p&gt;<br />&lt;script language=&quot;JavaScript&quot;&gt;<br />	document.write(&quot;&lt;input class=\&quot;submit\&quot; name=\&quot;submit\&quot; type=\&quot;submit\&quot; tabindex=\&quot;5\&quot; value=\&quot;&lt;?php echo plog_tr('Post Comment'); ?&gt;\&quot; /&gt;&quot;);<br />&lt;/script&gt;<br />&lt;/p&gt;<br /></code>]]>

<![CDATA[I have been using Plogger gallery to power the photo gallery of GAA, a non-profit organisation based in Nepal. We have to upload lots of photos regularly and have already uploaded a lot already. It is there are gaa.org.np/gallery<br /><br />The problem is, once I forgot to downsize the photos before uploading via FTP to the uploads folder, so I cancelled (I use FileZilla FTP client). So I cancelled the transfer process and reuploaded the downsized ones. So I had a lot of queued files left (the non-downsized ones). The gallery was refusing to open, but logging in to the gallery, I could see the files were there (I imported the images uploaded). So I deleted the original files and resumed the transfer (so that the uploads would fail, but there wouldn't be anything stuck. But the gallery is simply not working.<br /><br />So while I can login to the Gallery admin page at http://gaa.org.np/gallery/plog-admin/ which shows all the files that i have uploaded (screenshot: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/828/gallerygaaplog.jpg/ )<br /><br />But the actual gallery at www.gaa.org.np/gallery is not working.<br /><br />Other parts of the gaa.org.np are working just fine, so I know it's not a problem with our servers.<br /><br />Please help. Thanks in advanced. (Also, thanks to the Plogger team for the wonderful software, it has worked great so far.)]]>

<![CDATA[Hello, I know some other people have asked about this already but there wasn't an answer that worked for me. I know you can add links in the description field, but then the HTML code shows up in the meta description, and it seems the search engines aren't displaying the description in Search Results because of this. Is there a way to strip the HTML out of the description for the meta tag only? I need the HTML to show in the description on the page, but not in the meta tags. OR I need another field for links on the admin side. I know only enough PHP to edit small things and not ruin it, so I'm a bit out of my league here.<br /><br />Any help would be greatly appreciated!]]>

<![CDATA[Hello All, new to plaogger so please forgive me if this seems obvious....<br /><br />I have various zip files with images in and i have gone through the process of uploading them several times (all different zips)<br />This is the process i use.<br />admin/upload tab<br />browse to intended zip file.<br />then select &quot;Create a new album&quot; and give it a name (Eg summer flowers)<br />choose collection of &quot;Flowers&quot;<br />The zip uploads and then it starts to convert images.<br />and takes me to the &quot;Import&quot; tab<br />Then it says 100% done.<br />I then scroll right down to the bottom and then have to choose again the name of the album (Spring Flowers) and the collection to put them in?<br />I then select &quot;Import&quot;<br /><br />so...<br />1. why do i have to name and choose the album twice<br />2, is it supposed to use the name of the album i choose the first time (summer flomers) or the one i had to make on the import page (Spring Flowers)<br />3. or am i doing something wrong ? :)<br /><br />Thanks]]>

<![CDATA[Just installed plogger, and have a couple of issues. No idea if they are related as unfortunately I'm not fluent in php at all!<br /><br />First, whenever I'm logged into the admin section, I have this error message across the top of the screen:<br /> <strong >Notice:</strong> Undefined index: JPG Support in <strong >/home/stopanti/public_html/gallery/plog-admin/plog-admin-functions.php on line 1986</strong><br /><br />I did initially also have assorted Depreciated Function errors, but I solved these by following the instructions <a href="http://www.plogger.org/forum/discussion/3161/deprecated-eregi/#Item_0" >here</a>. ie: <em >Download phpThumb_5.3_fix.zip: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2991128&group_id=106407&atid=643974<br />And extract the files to "plogger\plog-includes\lib\phpthumb" overwriting everything (you may want to make a backup before hand just in case).</em><br /><br />The other problem I'm having is that I'm unable to manage albums or individual images. If I click on the Manage tab, it takes me (correctly) to the Manage Content page, where I see a list of collections. But if I click on a collection, or the "edit" button, instead of it taking me to the correct link (eg: http://stopantivaxnetwork.com/gallery/plog-admin/?level=albums&id=2), there is a pause, and I'm redirected to the upload page. So there's no way for me to add, edit or delete albums.<br /><br />My host is running Apache <em >2.2.15</em> and MySQL <em >5.0.92-community</em> and PHP <em >5.3.2</em>, if that info helps.<br /><br /><br />Many thanks for any assistance.]]>
