HTML or BBCode links?

Hi All

I have just set up a Plogger instance on a web server which I am hoping to hotlink to when I use my images in forums and on my other sites. Is there a way to add either a HTML or BBCode or both links underneath the image when displayed?

Resize original image

I've found a few topics about this subject, but no real answer to it, so here's my attempt to get some more info about this:

Is it possible, or is there someone who allready added this, to resize the original image on upload to a specific maximum size?

I want to use plogger for a gallery (http://www.floriske.nl/index.php?page=photography) and want to show the viewers a large image (by embedding FancyBox) but I don't want this to be the original image.

Simple solution would be to resize the image prior to uploading, but this isn't always possible (e.g. on holiday etc.)

So it would be handy if Plogger could be set to resize it on upload to a preset maximum width or height.

My question:
How can i get the comments on the album page? If i put the comments code: print plogger_display_comments();in the album page i can see the form and stuff but i cant post anyting! When i click on the sumbit button i go to the first picture of the album and noting is post...

How can i get this working?

Images missing after domain repoint

So I had the gallery up and it was working great. Then I pointed the domain from the old hosting account to the new one, (where plogger is located) and now the images are not showing up. Does anyone have any suggestions, besides doing a complete reinstall.

Fatal Errors when uploading pictures to an album

Good afternoon Guys,

I am getting this error when trying to upload more pictures to the album this morning:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 541330433 bytes) in /home2/doctorc2/public_html/Baby Damarys/My Gallery/lib/exifer1_5/makers/olympus.php on line 155

is there anything i can do or you may suggest? I have unlimited hosting space....

random-images and latest-images files stay blank with new plugin

I have successfully upgraded our plogger installation, but the random and latest images I had on our website didn't show anymore. That is, the spaces and links are there, but the thumbs themselves not anymore as they have a different url now. So I thought I'd try the new plugins, but then nothing comes up. I looked at the pages in the plugin directories themselves, but unfortunately they are blank :(

I have searched for hours, but can't figure out why it's not working. Does anyone have an idea?

Lightbox Integration

I just installed the latest Version 1.0 RC1 and would like to use lightbox but not sure how to do this. I am using a slightly modified version of the classic theme. I read somewhere there should be a lightbox option in the options screen but doesn't seem like it with this new version.

Any help is appreciated as I am new with this system.

Hi all, new to plogger. Lovin it :-)

So, here is what i'm trying to do. I would like to include on an html page some data from my plogger site. Specificly the number of collections images and albumms in the plogger site. I think this is the code to do it $active = get_active_collections_albums(); but i have no clue how to paste it into an html page on another site.

Any help would be awesome

Hi,
This may have already been answered, but I have not been able to locate the information. I am trying to make the gallery name (which is in text format) into a link that can be clicked to take a reader back to the home page. The reason I am trying to do this is because I have another homepage and the gallery is a sub page. I am trying to go back to the homepage without having to click back a hundred times. I am using the latest plogger with the default theme. Please advise how I could make the gallery name into a clickable link.

Logout problem

Somehow after clicking logout and one clicks backward, the user will stillbe logged in. Even after refreshing this page, the user is still logged in.

Images in gallery blurry

My client is concerned that her images in the galleries are a bit blurry. Any idea of what might cause this? Should images be sized to a specific size? Any suggested solutions?

Sub-Albums

It is quite possible someone else has already implemented this, but I basically just want to add one more layer of folders to my gallery:

Collection > Album > Sub-Album > Photo

I'm using v616. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Intergating plogger gallery with wordpress

What are some of the way you guys intergrate your plogger gallery with wordpress. i tried the plugin plogger press it did not work for me at all. I also tried this guide on how to intergrate it by make a seperate index.php file with pieces of wordpress codes in (can be found here: http://livingos.com/2007/02/26/integrating-plogger-into-wordpress/)

which also DID NOT work for me...

Finally I decided to make a custom page teplate that would fit into my wordpress. i pretty much to the page.php that already came with my template and edited it and where the main content went I called ploggers index.php with an iframe to put it ont he page.

It works however you then have the issues of the scrollbars when certain pages in the gallery have more content then you have room for on your blog.

I was wondering if anyone could help me fix this already existing code or if anyone has a batter option to get the gallery intergrated with wordpress...

you'll notice when you click on the images and view them full size or go to leave a comment the date on the right side of the picture is cut off.
Im not sure how to force the plogger gallery to FIT into that already existing space.

Generate Cruft-Free URLs won't work? (stay on same page)

Hi people,

I have a problem... i have website with plogger and the Cruft-Free URL's wont work. If you click on a album the page refresh en the new url do you see in the adress bar but you still
are on the index page! So the page will refresh but you dont get on the right page...

Do somewone know why this is?

get album,picture,collection names by ID

When adding a pic, album or collection, I have plogger create files based on the names.

When deleting the items, I want to remove those files. I see under delete_picture the get_picture_by_id function. It returns an array. How to retrieve the picture name/album name/collection name by id???

Hi

I've searched through many of these posts but none of them allow me to add a link to the gallery title. No matter what page I am on, the title is not clickable. Is there a step by step process for this? Would it be easier to just use a logo/image in the top corner and make it clickable?

I have used the plog-sitemap.php file that was on the TRAC.

It works flawlessly. However, I have my plogger installed in a /products directory. I need the sitemap in the /sitemap.html -- which I use wordpress, which is PHP and not acutally html. As you all know, it uses the htaccess. Anyway, I try to include, parse then include, etc etc and all the URLs processed by the plog-sitemap.php are the ugly urls. When I view the plog-sitemap by itself, it's all cruft-free.

Is there a way to get the parsed contents from the file and THEN include it without having the file be parsed from the / directory? I need it parsed where it's at or a solution to have the script not have the ugly urls?
