integrating plogger with drupal: page not found problem

I've successfully integrated plogger with my drupal site but i have a problem when i click on the thumblain of an album it doesnot show the images inside the gallery but it shows page not found. iam sure it is some thing related to php pathes but i don't know which php file i should edit.

I'm sorry if i double post by accident, wasn't familiar with this forum script at first.

Hey everyone, just need some basic help. I am looking to use plogger as a way to show off my wholesale products in a catalog (using plogger photo gallery with descriptions, etc) to retailers. The ultimate goal is that I want to be able to add a button to the bottom of each photo description that allows the user to add the photo ID to a list, of possible products there interested in purchasing that they can view later (this list page can be outside of plogger). Once they have a few products that they are interested in ordering from us, I want to have this "list" sent to me via email. After we receive this list from them, we contact them with quotes per unit, etc. No buying or selling will actually go through the plogger software.

I just want a button on the bottom of each photo, to have the ability to grab the current photo's caption and place it on another page (can be done outside of plogger), which can then be sent me via email whenever there ready to submit to us.

If anyone could atleast get me started on how to grab this caption, I would really appreciate it, thank you.

Installed but get blank page after log in

Hi all. Installed the latest version of plogger. Install didn't go well but managed to install database no problem. Had to manually create & configure the config file. Using Start Logic hosting and pointed the session variable to a temp folder on my web server in the php.ini file but not in the config file. Session variables are being created as I log in. My problem is when I log in I get a blank web page instead of the plogger control panel. Anyone have any ideas what I may have missed or messed up on?

Can't install Plogger.

My website has been infected with malware recently and as a result, I had to delete my whole plogger gallery. Of course I tried to install it after that, but... it's not working. I've deleted all tables in my MySQL database to make sure it's clean for the new install. Appears. I DO get an e-mail about a new gallery being created, though. I've been trying to solve this for a few hours and to no avail... deleting the whole thing and uploading it again doesn't work either... is there please any solution to this? The gallery was working just fine before. Thank you!

.htaccess and 301 Redirect

I'm using plogger with wordpress and I'm in the process of moving current photos to new directories. I need to setup a permanent redirect once I change the directory

For example.

Current location: www.mysite.com/products/cakes/birthday/batman-cake.html

New location: www.mysite.com/products/cakes/superhero/batman-cake.html

So if someone types in the current location it should redirect to the new location.

I have 2 .htaccess files. One in the root directory and one in the Plogger directory. the plogger one I assume is used to make the urls pretty and I think this is where I need to make the 301 redirect changes. Also I only want to redirect individual pages and not the entire directory

Note: I have already tried
RewriteRule ^products/cakes/birthday/batman-cake.html$ /products/cakes/superhero/batman-cake.htm [R=301,L]
And this doesn't work

The closest I get this to work is by editing the root directory .htaccess file and add
Redirect 301 /products/cakes/birthday/batman-cake.html http://mysite.com/products/cakes/superhero/batman-cake.htm?
But I have to add a trailing "?" question mark to get this to work and the question mark always shows up in the real URL which is not desired

Hi, All..... just joined and am currently setting up the Ploggery Gallery on my website. Most of the install was straight forward and has install to my host server but when i view my gallery i have some script errors at the bottom of my gallery home page to which i am unable to locate and resolve.

How to realize smooth migration for multiple bigger gallery sites?

I am replacing ImageFolio as my current Image Gallery script for www.animedesk.com, although I have some issues for the migration. I don't know how to do the following though.

- Not that important, but would be lovely
Keep the current folder structure. I use /images/subdirectory/picture.jpg. One of my sites receives 1000 visitors daily via Google Images, I like getting my visitors that way.

- Pretty important, I have 5 gallery sites
Mass-import multiple directories, thus albums. I have about 150 albums, a total of 800MB worth of pictures in my gallery. Adding album one-by-one is like painting the Forth Bridge.

I do not even mind clicking 150 times, but it requires a 2 min wait for creating the thumbnails and thus being a seriously long process.

Paging Outout is wrong after installing 2.1 update

I updated the my 2.0 beta with the updated pages for 2.1 and suddenly my paging URL outputting for the photo pages is wrong. The page numbers and >> text are outputting URLs like this:

/gallery/index.php?level=album&id=129?page=2

It should actually be:

/gallery/index.php?level=album&id=129&page=2

It's putting a ? at page=2 instead of a & symbol.

I also had an issue with the gallery paging that was displaying like this:

gallery/index.php&page=2

I had to edit the gallery.php so it would output gallery/index.php?page=2 instead, which works. Why is all my page outputting going nuts?

Generate Cruft-Free URLs 404 error

great script just ran into a little bump when setting it up.

when i turn on the cruft-free urls the links generate 404 errors

the link generated before turing on the cruft-free urls would look like this:
http://domain.com/index.php?level=picture&id=2

when i turn it on it look like this:
http://domain.com//just-moobell/fall-2009/mo/

notice it has two slashes aftr the domain name. anyone know how i can fix this as this is the problem thats making 404 errors?

CHMod error when importing photos

Make sure to CHMOD 777 your newly created folders within the uploads directory or else Plogger cannot access them. Plogger cannot CHMOD the directory for you while PHP is in safe mode.

1) Safe Mode is off
2) used wsFTP to chmod777 the upload folder and subfolders
3) running Windows Server, IIS6, PHP 5.x
4) I can upload photos fine
5) I can create directories fine
6) during import, the album direct is created before I get the error

I am oficially stumped. Any help is appreciates

Problem with upload folder [CHMOD]

Getting the following error in the import area.

Warning: This directory does not have the proper permissions settings! You must make this directory writable (CHMOD) using your FTP software, or import may fail.

The uploads folder is 777 and so are the sub-directories. I can't figure out what else can be causing it.

Still wading through my Web Host Manager encase there is an issue there.

EDIT: Using ConfigServer Explorer I have discovered that even though Filezilla was changing the folders to 777 and showing them as 777, there were still 755 in the system. Not sure why this happened

After successfully running plogger for months, weird upload error

all I need is a code to hide one single album (with id 21) from the start page. I want to be able to view one of the images from that album by acessing its address directly, I dont want to show the album at all at the home page. :)

Album thumbnails, where is the code that sets last picture as thumb?

This is doing my nut! I'm creating a gallery of BEAUTYLEG.com a Chinese glamour legs magazine type website, on my local machine as a personal collection of my subscription and every album I import is setting the last picture as thumb, when I want the first image, which is the cover of each album, to be the thumbnail. Where is the code that sets this after import? There's something between full album thumbs generation and actual import that is doing it. I've tried contacting sidtheduck to no avail, he seemed to be the most active developer here until it went quiet!

I'm sick of having to keep going to the Manage tab setting album thumbs manually to first image, it'd save me a lot of time if it was automatically first image!

Sub directory name is missing in URL

Hello Plogger support team,

First of all i want to thanks for the plogger developers who created such helpful tool for image gallery.

Well i have installed plogger latest version plogger-1.0RC1. But the url is not showing correctly,

it was showing like:
http://www.bangalorepackerandmover.comindex.php?level=picture&id=1

Then i got one solution from Plogger Forum Toipc:

By using this script i got "/" after my domain name, and now the link looks like this:

But the actual problem is i have installed plogged in sub directory "http://www.bangalorepackerandmover.com/cards"
and in the above links the directory name is missing, i checked in plogged admin for gallery URL and its mentioned correctly as http://www.bangalorepackerandmover.com/cards/. even after all this i am not able to fix this problem so please please please............... help me out how to fix this issue and to get the correct URL as : http://www.bangalorepackerandmover.com/cards/index.php?level=picture&id=1

No Collections

I have Plogger installed on several of our hosting accounts. It's been working fine, but now all of a sudden it says I have no collections on the 'Upload' and 'Import' tabs.

This is what it says.
Before you can begin uploading photos to your gallery, you must create at least one collection AND one album within that collection. Move over to the "Manage" tab to begin creating your organizational structure.

If I go to the 'Manage' tab, the collection shows up fine. When I navigate into the collection, it only lists a few of my albums. In the albums it shows it says, 0 pictures. But when you go into an album the pictures are there.

My problem is I can't upload or import any new photos.
