Log into your gallery admin panel, click on the Themes tab, and you will see all 3 themes that come with Plogger.

In the right column you will see the words Active Theme next to the theme you are currently using. The other 2 themes will have the word Activate in that column (hyperlinked).

Click on the Activate link next to the theme that you would like to use, and Plogger will switch to that theme.

    Hope this helps! :)

Thanks that seems obvious. How can one get more themes?

There are some third-party themes in Trac available for download. You can check them out here.

I was wondering how you come about to modify not the theme but more than that, like if I wanted to do integrate some flash features. I have a flash swf that works as long as I can create an standard xml with galleries, album, and picture tags. I know how to create this from php, but plogger works with a database.
So I wonder if there is a plug in or some help that could let me integrate both.

    thanks,

    cordoval,

If you are looking to integrate Plogger with Flash, I think you should take a look at the plog-xml.php and it's helper file plog-thumb.php. These were developed to output XML via calling functions from $_GET variables. I personally have not used it much, but it was developed previously to work with the Flash backend. Hope that helps!

    cordoval -

Go to the link that I provided, and scroll to the bottom of that page. You will see the following text: Download in other formats:. Below that is a link called Zip archive. That zip file will contain all of the third-party themes that are currently in the SVN repository. You can extract those folders to your local computer, then upload them to the themes folder on your server.

If you would prefer to only download one or two of the themes, then click on that theme name, and look for the same text at the bottom of that page (Download in other formats: Zip archive). That zip file would only contain the single theme you chose, rather than all of them.

Activating the themes is done by going to the Themes tab in your gallery admin section, and clicking Activate next to the theme that you want to use. They should work correctly for you as is. If you want to change the look of any of them, then you will need to modify the appropriate files within that theme.

    Thanks a lot.

Sidtheduck, it is good information. Can you provide some more information about the past of plogger?
When I saw the logo it sounded like you are a company or project that may end up being absorbed by google.
Another thought that sprang in my mind is that you were once working towards flash and then something happened. Integration with flash is more commercial due to the amount of flashden or flash other widgets ready out there that support some sort of xml input. However, they don't generate their own xml and one mostly has to do the hard editing work of placing names for files in an xml that could contain a large gallery of photos.

    Anyways, just some thoughts.

    Encouragements,
