General Support: Pagination on Import Page

Is it possible to add pagination to the plog-import page? I have 1000's of photos I am uploading and the thumbnail creation is taking forever, and my host is not very helpful in resolving an issue with uploading large amounts of data. I have up'ed the post_max_size, upload_max_filesize, default _socket_timeout and max_exceutition_time and still have issues. My hope is to set a pagination to say 20 per page so that I can more easily manage the number up current uploads.
