    I want the visitors to the gallery not to be able to save images?
    How would I achieve this?

    Watermark them.

    Its very hard to out and out stop people from saving an image at some stage (thumb-inter-fullize) so its best to just watermark them in my opinion. Javascript can disable mouseclicks on a page but people can get around that in certain browsers even.
